DIN2391 seamless steel pipe
DIN 2391 is a precision seamless steel pipe standard formulated by the German industrial standard, which mainly covers the requirements for the size, shape, tolerance, mechanical properties and surface quality of cold-drawn or cold-rolled precision seamless steel pipes.
Material characteristics:
Made of high-quality carbon steel or low-alloy steel, commonly used materials include ST35, ST45 and ST52. The performance characteristics of different materials are as follows:
Material | Tensile strength | Yield strength | Elongation | Application |
ST35 | 340 - 470 | ≥235 | ≥25 | Low-pressure hydraulic systems, |
ST45 | 440 - 590 | ≥315 | ≥21 | Medium-pressure hydraulic systems, |
ST52 | 520 - 680 | ≥355 | ≥14 | High-pressure hydraulic systems, |
Manufacturing process:
1. Cold drawing: The steel pipe undergoes multiple cold drawing to gradually reduce the outer diameter and wall thickness and improve dimensional accuracy.
2. Cold rolling: Further processing to improve surface quality and mechanical properties.
3. Heat treatment: such as annealing, normalizing and other processes to improve material properties and enhance durability.
As the standard for high-precision steel pipes, DIN 2391 seamless steel pipes have become an indispensable material in various industries with their excellent performance and wide application. Its high strength, precise size and excellent surface quality make it play an important role in hydraulic systems, automobile manufacturing and mechanical engineering.
