Cutting method of large-diameter seamless steel pipe

Large-diameter seamless steel pipe is a seamless steel pipe with an outer diameter of more than 1000mm. Seamless steel pipe is made of steel ingot or solid tube billet through perforation into rough tube, and then hot rolled, cold rolled or cold drawn.

Here are three common large-diameter cutting methods.

1. Use a sawing machine.

The characteristics of the sawing machine are neat incisions, which are convenient for welding during construction, but the disadvantage is that the efficiency is too low.

2. Use artificial gas cutting.

Its characteristics are fast speed and high efficiency, but the disadvantage is that the surface of the incision is serrated, which hinders construction.

3. Use a self-propelled automatic pipe cutting machine.

The characteristics of using a self-propelled automatic pipe cutting machine are low cost and smooth and neat incisions. After cutting with a self-propelled pipe cutting machine, this method is not much different from the incision cut by a sawing machine.
