Seamless steel pipe schedule 40

Seamless steel pipe schedule 40 (Sch 40) is a wall thickness grade representation in the American standard (ANSI B36.10), used to identify the wall thickness of seamless steel pipes. The "40" here does not mean that the actual wall thickness of the steel pipe is 40 (mm), but refers to a grade in a standard wall thickness series.
