Cold treatment of stainless steel pipes
Both stainless steel seamless steel pipes and stainless steel welded steel pipes can be cold processed - cold rolled and cold drawn to meet higher requirements for cold processed products.
1. Cold drawing process:
Put the stainless steel pipe into a cold drawing machine for processing to further reduce the diameter and make the pipe wall more uniform.
Features: Improve the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of stainless steel pipes, and are suitable for high-strength and high-pressure working environments. At the same time, cold drawing can also improve surface quality and dimensional accuracy.
2. Cold rolling process:
Put the stainless steel pipe into a cold rolling mill for processing to enhance strength and surface quality by reducing the diameter and wall thickness.
Features: Improve the dimensional accuracy of stainless steel pipes, reduce surface defects, and are suitable for high-precision applications such as automotive manufacturing and aerospace industries.
These methods have their own characteristics, and the appropriate processing method can be selected according to different needs and application scenarios.
