What Is 317L Stainless Steel?
317L stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel that belongs to the chromium-nickel-molybdenum family of stainless steels. Compared to common 304 or 316 stainless steels, 317L stainless steel contains a higher molybdenum content, which makes it have excellent corrosion resistance, especially in environments containing chlorides.
