Q345 material introduction
Q345 is a low alloy steel. The "Q" in its name represents yield strength, while "345" indicates that the yield strength of this steel is 345MPa.
Q345 materials can be divided into Q345A, Q345B, Q345C, Q345D and Q345E according to their grades. The main difference between these grades is the shock temperature they can withstand:
Q345A level: no impact test.
Q345B level: suitable for impact testing at 20 degrees normal temperature.
Q345C grade: suitable for impact testing at low temperatures of 0 degrees.
Q345D grade: suitable for impact testing at low temperatures of -20 degrees.
Q345E grade: suitable for impact testing at low temperatures of -40 degrees.
