What is the difference between stainless steel sanitary pipes and decorative welded pipes?
There are significant differences between stainless steel sanitary pipes and ordinary decorative welded pipes in many aspects.
First of all, from the perspective of uses and characteristics, stainless steel sanitary pipes are a highly hygienic pipe material. They are mainly used in food, medicine, chemical industry and other fields to meet the high requirements of these industries for hygienic environments. It has the characteristics of smooth surface, easy cleaning, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, etc., and is easy to clean and disinfect, thereby ensuring the hygiene of the pipeline. Stainless steel decorative welded pipes are mainly used in decoration and construction fields, and their uses and characteristics are significantly different from sanitary pipes.
Secondly, from the perspective of manufacturing raw materials and thickness, stainless steel sanitary pipes must use large-scale refined furnace materials with sufficient nickel, sufficient chromium and low carbon as raw materials. The thinnest thickness is usually 1mm, and there are many customized thicknesses. Ordinary decorative welded pipes do not have such strict requirements in terms of raw materials and thickness. The sources of raw materials may be wider and the thickness is more standard.
Finally, in terms of welding treatment, stainless steel sanitary pipes need to be leveled internally and externally, that is, both internal and external welds must be processed to ensure their sanitary performance. Ordinary decorative welded pipes may not have such strict requirements in terms of weld processing.
