Spiral welded pipe implementation standards

The international standards implemented by spiral welded pipes include ISO standards, ASTM standards, JIS standards, DIN standards, etc., while China implements GB standards, HG standards, etc. Specific standards can be classified according to the use, material, processing method, etc. of spiral welded pipes.

For example, the ISO 3183-1 standard is suitable for the production of pressure pipes, and the ASTM A513 standard is suitable for the production of high-strength spiral welded pipes. In China, the national standards for spiral welded pipes include GB/T9711.1, GB/T9711.2, GB/T9711.3, GB/T3091-2008, etc. These standards stipulate the materials, manufacturing, dimensions, mechanical properties and testing requirements of spiral welded pipes, ensuring the quality and performance of spiral welded pipes.

In addition to the above standards, there are also some standards for spiral welded pipes for specific purposes, such as GB/T 9711.1-1997, which specifies the design specifications for steel pipes for pipeline transportation systems in the oil and natural gas industry, and ASTM A252, which specifies the manufacturing and testing of spiral welded pipe foundation piles. EN 10219-1 applies to non-alloy and fine grain steel spiral welded pipes for cold formed welded structures.

Therefore, when selecting spiral welded pipes, it is necessary to select based on specific application scenarios and needs, combined with corresponding execution standards, to ensure that their quality and performance meet the requirements. At the same time, it is also necessary to pay attention to updates and changes in standards in order to adjust production and procurement strategies in a timely manner.
