Spiral steel pipe product introduction
Spiral steel pipe is a steel pipe with spiral welds, usually made by spiral welding process. This kind of pipe is connected by high-frequency welding or double welding after the steel plate or steel strip is rolled into a spiral shape, and finally a continuous spiral weld is formed.
Features of spiral steel pipe
1. Weld type: with continuous spiral weld and high welding quality.
2. Excellent strength: Due to the welding method, it has high strength and stability.
3. Strong adaptability: suitable for a variety of terrains and engineering requirements, and can be used in different types of pipeline engineering and civil engineering.
Production Process
1. Raw material preparation: Commonly used raw materials are hot-rolled or cold-rolled steel plates or steel strips. These steel plates or strips are cleaned and pre-treated to ensure the surface is free of contaminants.
2. Plate coil forming: The steel plate or steel strip is formed by a plate rolling machine and rolled into a spiral shape according to specific specifications and diameters.
3. Welding: The curled and pre-bent steel plates or strips are welded through the spiral welding process.
4. Trimming and inspection: After completing the welding, trim and cut the welding seams and pipes to ensure that the appearance and size meet the requirements.
5. Anti-corrosion treatment and packaging: For specific needs, spiral steel pipes can be anti-corrosion treated.
After completing the inspection, packaging is carried out to ensure the safe transportation and storage of the product.
Application scenarios
1. Transmission pipeline: used to transport liquids, gases, steam, etc., such as oil, natural gas, water, etc.
2. Structural use: used in building supports, bridge structures, engineering pillars and other fields.
3. Pipeline engineering: In the construction of transmission pipelines, it is especially suitable for complex scenarios that require strength and adaptability.
