Features of different types of steel
1.Carbon steel
Carbon steel is mainly composed of iron and carbon, with a carbon content between 0.1% and 2.1%. Carbon steel is characterized by high hardness, strength and low cost. Therefore, it is widely used in manufacturing various mechanical components, vehicle parts, building structures, etc.
2.Alloy steel
Alloy steel is steel made by adding other alloy elements (such as Cr, Mo, Mn, etc.) to carbon steel. Alloy steel has high corrosion resistance, heat resistance and wear resistance, so it is widely used in aviation, aerospace, automobiles, shipbuilding and other fields.
The Cr content in stainless steel is generally above 10.5%, which has excellent corrosion resistance and aesthetics. It is widely used in kitchenware, tableware, architectural decoration and other fields.
4.High strength steel
High-strength steel has extremely high strength and hardness, good fatigue resistance, high load-bearing capacity and good safety. It is widely used in automobile, construction, bridge, chemical industry, electric power and other industries.
5. Hot rolled ribbed steel bars
Hot-rolled ribbed steel bar is a steel material commonly used to reinforce and strengthen concrete structures such as bridges, foundations, etc. Hot-rolled ribbed steel bars are characterized by good toughness, strong bonding force, and high tensile strength.
6.Cold rolled sheet
Cold-rolled sheet is a thin steel material with a thickness of less than 0.5mm, which is usually used to manufacture automobiles, home appliances, IT products, etc. Cold-rolled sheets are characterized by smooth surface, high precision and good processability.
