Stainless steel seamless pipe product introduction

Stainless steel seamless pipe is a long steel material with a hollow section and no seams around it. Due to its unique production process, stainless steel seamless pipes have superior performance in terms of high pressure, high strength, and mechanical structural materials. 

1. Types of stainless steel seamless pipes:

Hot-rolled seamless pipe: a pipe made by perforating a heated steel billet and then rolling it. This manufacturing method has the advantages of simple process and high production efficiency, and is suitable for the production of large-diameter, thick-walled pipes.

Cold-drawn seamless pipe: a pipe made by perforating hot-rolled pipes and then using a cold-drawn process. This manufacturing method can ensure the accuracy of pipe dimensions and excellent surface quality, and is suitable for making pipes with high precision requirements.

2. Material of stainless steel seamless pipe:

Common stainless steel materials include 304, 316, 321, etc., which have good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.

The manufacturing and quality standards of stainless steel seamless pipes mainly include the following:

ASTM standards: such as ASTM A312, ASTM A213, ASTM A269, etc.

JIS standards: such as JIS G3459, JIS G3463, etc.

DIN standards: such as DIN2462, etc.

GB standards: such as GB/T 14976, GB/T 13296, etc.

These standards stipulate the chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions and inspection requirements of stainless steel seamless pipes, ensuring the quality and safety performance of the pipes.
