Advantages of hot-dip galvanized channel steel
Hot-dip galvanized channel steel uses ordinary channel steel as the base material. After rust removal, it is immersed in zinc liquid that melts at about 440~460°C, so that a zinc layer is attached to the surface of the channel steel, thereby achieving the purpose of anti-corrosion.
Hot-dip galvanized channel steel has the following advantages:
1. Strong corrosion resistance: The hot-dip galvanized layer can effectively protect the channel steel from corrosion by the atmosphere, acid, alkali, salt and other substances, extending the service life of the channel steel.
2. High strength: The hot-dip galvanizing process can improve the mechanical properties and tensile strength of channel steel, allowing it to withstand greater loads and pressures.
3. Good safety: The surface galvanized layer has good electrical and thermal conductivity, which can effectively transfer current and heat to other metals, reducing safety risks such as fire and electric shock.
4. Good economy: Although the price of hot-dip galvanized channel steel is slightly higher than that of ordinary channel steel, its service life is longer, maintenance costs are lower, and it is more economical to use for a long time.
5. Good processability: Hot-dip galvanized channel steel has good processing performance and can be cut, welded, bent, etc., making construction and installation convenient.
