Advantages and applications of flat steel

Flat steel refers to steel with a width of 12-300mm, a thickness of 4-60mm, a rectangular cross-section and slightly blunt edges. It can be finished steel, or it can be made into blanks for welded pipes and thin slabs for rolled thin plates.

Features of Flat Steel:

1. Special product specifications. The thickness is 8~50mm, the width is 150-625mm, and the product specifications are closely spaced, which can meet the needs of users. It can be used instead of the middle plate and can be welded directly without cutting.

2. The product surface is smooth and clean. In the process, a high-pressure water descaling process is used for the second time to ensure that the surface of the steel is smooth and clean.

3. Both sides are vertical and the corners are clear. The two-pass vertical rolling in the finishing rolling ensures good verticality of both sides, clear corners and good edge surface quality.

The advantages of flat steel:

1. Flat steel is rolled with negative deviation, but is delivered according to the actual weight. The utilization rate is 1 to 5 percentage points higher than that of steel plates.

2. Flat steel can be produced in fixed thickness, fixed width and fixed length according to user's needs, which reduces cutting and process for users, reduces the consumption of labor and materials, and also reduces the processing loss of raw materials, saving time and effort. , save materials.

The main purpose:

As a finished product, flat steel can be used to make hoops, tools and mechanical parts, and can be used as structural components of house frames and escalators in construction.
