What is the difference between color steel plate and galvanized plate?
Color steel plate and galvanized plate are two common materials. They each have their own advantages and are widely used. However, they also differ significantly in many ways.
1. Properties: Colored steel plate is a steel plate with an organic coating, while galvanized plate is a steel plate with a layer of zinc on the surface. This is the most essential difference between the two.
2. Appearance and color: Due to its color, stainlessness, anti-corrosion, fire resistance and other characteristics, color steel plates have bright and beautiful appearance, and can be produced into various colored modeling plates. Galvanized sheets are mainly silver-white, with a layer of zinc covering the surface. Their appearance is relatively monotonous, making it difficult to produce colorful effects.
3. Material: Galvanized iron sheets are mainly made of cold-rolled sheets, hot-rolled sheets and other iron materials, and then galvanized. Color steel plates are usually made of iron, aluminum, zinc and other metal materials.
4. Performance characteristics: Because the color steel plate has undergone various surface treatments and coatings, it has very good decorative and anti-corrosion properties and can be widely used in building roofs, exterior walls, partition walls, etc. Galvanized sheets, on the other hand, have a layer of zinc on the surface and have strong corrosion resistance, heat resistance and electrical conductivity. They are often used in household appliances, machinery manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, etc.
5. Price: The price of color steel plate is relatively high, but due to its colorful and beautiful characteristics, it has been widely used. The price of galvanized sheets is relatively low and is mainly used in some fields with strong practicality, so the market demand is also large.
