What are the production processes for stainless steel?
1. Cold rolling process
The cold rolling process refers to the method of rolling stainless steel blanks at room temperature, which can thin the material to a corresponding thickness, improve hardness accuracy, and have a better surface finish.
2.Surface treatment process
Surface treatments on stainless steel can change the appearance as well as corrosion resistance. Commonly used surface treatments include grinding and polishing, pickling, color plating, etc. Grinding and polishing can improve the finish and brightness of stainless steel, and pickling can remove surface debris and improve corrosion resistance.
3. Cold drawing process
The cold drawing process is to heat the stainless steel billet to the corresponding temperature and then use cold drawing equipment to stretch the billet into the corresponding shape and size. The cold drawing process can improve the hardness, strength, surface finish and mechanical properties of stainless steel.
4.Heat treatment process
A process of heating stainless steel to a certain temperature and then cooling it. It can improve the crystal structure, eliminate internal stress, and improve strength and toughness. Common heat treatments include annealing, quenching, etc.
5.Welding process
The welding process has strict requirements. There are strict requirements on the type of material, welding temperature and speed. For example, during the welding process, when the welder strikes the arc on the stainless steel surface, causing damage to the protective film of the stainless steel, the material will be oxidized and rust. .
6. Casting process
A process in which molten stainless steel water is injected into the mold and the desired shape is obtained after cooling and solidification. The casting process can produce complex parts and components. Common stainless steel casting methods include sand casting, weightless casting, pressure casting, etc.
