The main production process of galvanized square pipe

The main production process of galvanized square pipe includes the following steps

1. Steel pipe pretreatment: First, the steel pipe is surface treated, including pickling and rust removal. Pickling can remove oxide scale and dirt on the surface of steel pipes, making the subsequent galvanizing process smoother.

2. Cleaning: Clean the pickled steel pipes to remove residual acid and impurities. Cleaning can use water washing, alkali washing or electrolytic washing to ensure that the surface of the steel pipe is clean and free of impurities.

3. Pickling and then rust removal: Pickling the cleaned steel pipe again to remove possible new oxides and dirt. This step can further improve the cleanliness of the steel pipe surface.

4. Soak in the hot-dip galvanizing tank: Soak the pickled and cleaned steel pipes in the hot-dip galvanizing tank for hot-dip galvanizing treatment. The zinc liquid in the hot-dip galvanizing tank will react with the surface of the steel pipe to form a zinc layer, which can provide the steel pipe with excellent anti-corrosion performance and weather resistance.

5. Cooling and cleaning: After hot-dip galvanizing, take the steel pipe out of the hot-dip galvanizing tank, cool and clean it. This step removes residual zinc liquid from the surface of the steel pipe and allows it to cool to room temperature.

6. Inspection and trimming: Conduct appearance inspection and dimensional inspection on the galvanized square tube to ensure that its quality meets the requirements. If surface defects or dimensional deviations are found, trimming is required.

7. Packaging and delivery: The inspected galvanized square tubes are packaged, usually in plastic film packaging or packaging pallets. Then, follow-up processes such as factory shipment and warehousing are carried out.
