The 11th China International Iron and Steel Conference builds consensus - jointly create a green and low-carbon bright future for the iron and steel industry
"As one of the industries with high carbon emissions, the steel industry will face severe challenges from the 'relative constraints' of carbon emission intensity to the 'absolute constraints' of total carbon emissions. Iron and steel people must bravely undertake the mission of carbon reduction!"
"Low-carbon development is an unavoidable challenge for the steel industry. We must start taking action now. The sooner we act, the better we can take the initiative."
"China's iron and steel industry must effectively strengthen and fully demonstrate the responsibilities and responsibilities of 'big country iron and steel', stand at the height of sustainable development and build a 'community with a shared future for mankind', grasp the development trend of the world's iron and steel, and develop in green and low-carbon, intelligent manufacturing, and material innovation. We will continue to play a leading role in three aspects.”
"Coping with climate change depends on the joint action of the world. Under the concept of green and low-carbon common development, global steel cooperation is essential."
