In the first 11 months of 2025, China's steel output increased by 4% year-on-year.

According to an article published by the National Bureau of Statistics of China on its official website on December 15, 2025：In November 2025, China's crude steel output reached 69.87 million tons, down 10.9% year-on-year; pig iron output stood at 62.34 million tons, down 8.7% year-on-year; and steel product output totaled 115.91 million tons, down 2.6% year-on-year.

From January to November, China's crude steel output reached 891.67 million tons, down 4.0% year-on-year; pig iron output totaled 774.05 million tons, down 2.3% year-on-year; and steel product output amounted to 1,332.77 million tons, up 4.0% year-on-year.
