In the first 11 months of 2025, China's steel output increased by 4% year-on-year.
According to an article published by the National Bureau of Statistics of China on its official website on December 15, 2025:In November 2025, China's crude steel output reached 69.87 million tons, down 10.9% year-on-year; pig iron output stood at 62.34 million tons, down 8.7% year-on-year; and steel product output totaled 115.91 million tons, down 2.6% year-on-year.
From January to November, China's crude steel output reached 891.67 million tons, down 4.0% year-on-year; pig iron output totaled 774.05 million tons, down 2.3% year-on-year; and steel product output amounted to 1,332.77 million tons, up 4.0% year-on-year.
