Company executives and client representatives jointly inspect the corrugated culvert pipes
Recently, our company has completed a batch of corrugated culvert orders. The products cover three specifications: 900mm, 1200mm and 1500mm in diameter, with wall thicknesses of 4mm and 2.5mm respectively, and galvanised coatings weighing 120g/m² and 80g/m². To ensure the products strictly comply with the contractual requirements, relevant company executives, together with the client’s third-party agent, visited the partner factory to conduct a joint pre-shipment inspection of this batch of corrugated culverts.
The inspection focused on the following key areas:
Dimension verification: Using a tape measure and specialised measuring tools, multiple measurements are taken of the internal diameter, pitch and corrugation depth of the corrugated culvert pipes to ensure they comply with the order specifications;
Wall thickness testing: Using a thickness gauge, the actual wall thickness is measured at various points along the pipe body to confirm that both the 4 mm and 2.5 mm specifications fall within the standard tolerance range;
Verification of Galvanised Coating Weight: In accordance with relevant standards, carry out random sampling tests for the 120 g/m² and 80 g/m² galvanised coating requirements to ensure that corrosion protection meets the required standards;
Visual Inspection of Appearance and Welds: Visually inspect the corrugation profile for regularity and the welds for fullness and the absence of cracks, confirming the absence of defects such as rust or burrs.
A third-party representative witnessed the entire measurement process and recorded and verified the key data. Following on-site acceptance by the client’s representative, this batch of corrugated culverts will proceed to the packaging and dispatch stages as scheduled.
