Alibaba International Nation Headquarters visited our company for discussions, with both parties exploring the new digital future of steel trade.

Today, representatives from Alibaba International Station's Hangzhou headquarters paid a special visit to Yangtze Steel Group. At the outset of the meeting, the Alibaba delegation expressed high praise and recognition for our company, noting that Yangtze Steel Group has consistently ranked among the top ten in transaction volume within the primary industry category of Metals & Alloys on Alibaba International Station in recent years. We have garnered widespread acclaim from overseas clients and earned their long-term trust, becoming a benchmark for peers on the platform and a leading enterprise in the steel trading sector. This achievement stems not only from our unwavering commitment to providing globally competitive steel products at competitive prices, but also from the standardized systems we have established in product quality control, supply chain management, and customer service.

Subsequently, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including development trends in the steel foreign trade industry, core demands of businesses, and platform service upgrades. As a leading partner enterprise in the steel trade sector on Alibaba International Station, Yangtze Steel Group shared frontline industry insights during the meeting and actively responded to the platform's “co-construction and co-governance” initiative, driving the digital transformation of the entire steel foreign trade supply chain.

International demand for steel products is increasingly characterized by diversification and customization, with buyer segments becoming more specialized—including end-users, wholesalers, project procurement entities, and supply chain service providers. Each category exhibits distinct requirements regarding inquiries, delivery schedules, quality control, and logistics. Drawing on its extensive practical experience in international trade, Yangtze Steel Group highlighted key challenges currently faced by steel exporters in cross-border transactions. These include improving information matching efficiency, building quality trust, ensuring supply chain stability, and enhancing compliance support.

They expressed hope to collaborate with leading enterprises like Yangtze Steel Group to explore more precise buyer-seller matching mechanisms. Both parties agreed that the platform should further strengthen its vertical operational capabilities in the steel category, comprehensively enhancing user experience from business opportunity discovery and product display to fulfillment guarantees and after-sales service.

Representatives from Alibaba International Station also reviewed samples displayed at Yangtze Steel Group and gained insight into the company's standardized export product specifications. To further enhance the platform's infrastructure for the steel industry, Alibaba formally invited Yangtze Steel Group to participate in developing the data foundation for the platform's steel module. Yangtze Steel Group responded positively to this initiative, pledging to share key information including select steel product data, procurement standard procedures, quality control systems, and corporate management expertise. This commitment aims to assist the platform in constructing data models and service systems that better align with industry realities.
